Sport, Play, Education and An Excellent Work Ethic were a big part of Brent's life. He was a shining example of the true meaning of sportsmanship - treating others with respect; good manners; heart; playing fair with a positive attitude; being courteous to teammates, opponents, coaches, officials; acknowledging the victory and/or defeat with pride, grace, style and dignity; and finally for encouraging the kids to have Fun along the way. Kids who do this benefit in every aspect of their lives, in everything they do.

The game is about treating others as you like to be treated yourself. Sportsmanship is a style and an attitude of gratitude and it can have a positive influence on everyone around you. We know with Brent’s caring nature and his desire to always put others first made NEV FOUNDATION and WingMan for Life a natural fit.

Because of this we were inspired to do a fundraiser based on a sportsmanship theme as a fundraising tool for Nev Foundation. Our 2009/2010 Sportsmanship Calendar was composed of numerous athletes’ young and old who utilized sports to further their education and careers and are now giving back to their communities. Our 2012 Fundraising Calendar is “Remembering Victims of Alcohol Related Crashes”. Fundraising through supporting worthy causes as well as teaching kids the value of giving back at an early age is a match made in heaven.
